Dr Alexandra Prodromidou is a Lecturer in the Business Administration and Economics Department, University of Sheffield, International Faculty-City College. She holds a PhD in Russian Studies from the Centre for Russian and East European Studies, University of Birmingham, UK, an MA in Mediterranean Studies from King’s College, University of London, UK and a BA (Hons) in International Relations and European Studies with Italian from the University of Sussex, UK. In the past she taught and lectured on Politics and Russian Politics at the University of Birmingham, the University of Leicester and Nottingham Trent University in the UK. She currently teaches European Union and International Politics. In relation to issues linked to the proposed project on the Migrant Crisis within the framework of EU Integration, apart from her educational background and her teaching, she can contribute through her research experience. Since 2013 Alexandra has focused on the Political Economy of Greece during the crisis. Her contribution to the project will be an interdisciplinary one focusing on the political dimension of the Migrant crisis in Greece. Alexandra is also the coordinator of CITY’s Summer School on ‘The Migrant Crisis within the Greek Context’.
