Dr Francesca Stumia is a Lecturer in European Union Law and EU Migration Law, University of Sheffield; Fellow of the Centre for Comparative and Transnational Law, University of Torino (2014-present); Research Fellow in Comparative Law, University of Torino 2012-2014; Post-Graduate Research Fellow, Harvard Law School (non-resident, 2009-2011); Adjunct Professor of European Law, New England School of Law (2008-2009); President and Vice-President of the Harvard European Law Association (HELA) (2006-2008); author of two books and several articles in leading international journals on questions of free movement, rights and status of third country nationals in the EU and European citizenship; while at the University of Torino, contributed to found the Human Rights and Migration Law Clinic; native in Italian, fluent in English, German and Spanish; proficient in reading French.
